Millions watched the premiere of Ruby and the Rockits on July 21st. It's an ABC Family comedy starring Alexa Vega, David Cassidy, Patrick Cassidy, and Austin Butler. It has an all-star cast! Alexa Vega (Spy Kids, Sleepover, Odd Girl Out), David Cassidy (pop artist), Patrick Cassidy (pop artist), and Austin Butler (Zoey 101, Aliens In the Attic). I watched it on the Tuesday that it came out, and now it's time for a review!Ruby and the Rockits is based on a girl named Ruby (Alexa Vega), who been living with her grandparents, and just took a one-way ticket to meet her father (David Cassidy). He's a rockstar, who doesn't have a stable home for her to stay with him. So he sends Ruby to stay with his brother (Patrick Cassidy), who was a rockstar, but now has chosen a quiet life with his 2 sons (Austin Butler and Kurt Doss) and his wife (Katie Amanda Keane). Ruby meets her family, and is in for an adventure!
I give this show a 4/5.
